The Great Leap Forward (1959 - 1961).  A debate on the causes of the „Three bitter Years“.

The following pro-seminar paper deals with the interwoven and complex structures of the Communist Party of China in the late 1950s and the early 1960s and their socioeconomical policy of the so called „Great Leap Forward“ that lead in connection with  miscalculation, supression, terror and utopian ideas to the most fatal famine in China’s history.
