Аннотация

The following abstract illustrates my master thesis treating the republican author L. Coelius Antipater. It is focused on the three points: Author, oeuvre and the account of the past created by Antipater. A special emphasis is placed on the difficulties created by the fragmentary transmission of this oeuvre and the development of the first Latin historical monograph.
